We start with the needs in front of us, then build relationships that address deeper needs: emotional, relational, and spiritual.
Our facilitators specialize in trauma and are trained in evidence-based trauma treatment. Together they have developed curriculums including Awakened Heart, Healing from Shame, Overcoming Rejection, and How Healing Trauma Impacts the Heart.
See our workshopsConnecting Pointe partners with nonprofits and community organizations to equip the people who serve individuals and families. Our training helps leaders, staff, and volunteers understand how trauma can affect behavior, relationships, and engagement with services—and respond with greater awareness and compassion.
We begin by learning about your organization, the people you serve, and the situations your team encounters. We then tailor discussions, practical exercises, and examples to your setting. Topics may include recognizing trauma responses, building safety and trust, using supportive language, reducing the risk of re-traumatization, and identifying when professional counseling or other resources are needed.
Our F.I.T. program integrates faith and trauma-informed care for churches and faith-based organizations. For other nonprofit and community teams, we discuss your goals and organizational context during the consultation to determine the appropriate training approach.
